Mysore: SDPI candidate Abdul Majeed, contesting from the Narasimharaja Assembly constituency, submitted his nomination papers to the election officials today.
Thousands of party workers took out a procession from Al Badr Circle in Rajiv Nagar to the Party Office in Udayagiri, where some senior leaders also joined and proceeded to the Chamundi Vihar Stadium to submit his nomination papers.
SDPI State Vice-President Devanur Puttananjayya, State Committee Member Amjad Khan, District President Rafat Khan, and BSP State Secretary R. Shankar were present during the filing of nomination papers.
