Araga Gnanendra’s statement about Kharge’s skin color is expected, BJP, which stands on the foundation of discrimination and inequality. But Congress should not hesitate to take legal action against Araga Gyanendra: Abdul Majeed, State President, SDPI.

Bangalore, 02 August 2023: BJP and R.S.S’s ideology itself rests on a foundation of ideas that foster discrimination and inequality. So they keep perverting others about their caste, skin color, and food habits. Abdul Majeed, the State President of the Social Democratic Party of India, said in his press release that former minister Araga Gyanendra had made controversial comments about Mallikarjuna Kharge’s skin color. Condemning Araga Gyanendra’s statement, Majeed urged the government to immediately take action against him under the SC, ST Atrocities Act.
Majeed alleged that Araga’s statement was not only about Mallikarjuna Kharge or Forest Minister Ishwar Khandre or about the physical structure of the people of North Karnataka and the environment there but rather the complexion of the ‘Mulanivasi’ people of this country.
The people of the state are fed up with this kind of behavior of the BJP, but they have not come to their senses even though they have been taught a lesson in the assembly elections. He demanded that Congress should not be satisfied with mere regret or apology but take legal action.
