We express our heartfelt condolences to the people of Iran as they remember the passing of Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini, a leader who played a defining role in shaping the political and religious landscape of modern Iran. His legacy remains deeply significant to millions who continue to reflect upon his influence and leadership.
At the same time, we strongly condemn the recent acts of aggression carried out by Israel and the United States against Iran without provocation. Such military actions represent a dangerous escalation that undermines regional stability and violate the fundamental principles of sovereignty and international law.
We extend our deepest sympathies to the families of all civilians who have lost their lives in the attacks, including the heartbreaking deaths of innocent school girls and other non-combatants. The loss of civilian lives, especially children, is a tragic reminder of the devastating human cost of conflict.
Our thoughts and prayers are with the grieving families and the people of Iran during this painful time.
